Production of reflective tape

Material preparation: choose materials with reflective effect, usually polymer or plastic substrates, such as polyester film and polyvinyl chloride film. At the same time, glass beads or metal particles with reflective effect are selected as the reflective layer.

Coating: Pass the substrate through a coating machine or a hot-melt coating machine to evenly coat the pearlescent material with reflective effect. There are usually two coating methods: direct coating and dry powder coating.

Drying: After coating, the substrate is dried and cured by oven or heat treatment. This step enables the reflective layer to be firmly attached to the substrate.

Cutting: The dried material is cut to the desired size and shape. The cutting method can be mechanical cutting or laser cutting.

Packaging: Pack the cut reflective tape to protect it from contamination or damage, and to facilitate storage and transportation.
