Raw material selection and preparation

Preparation

 

·Prepare the safety clothing that needs to be ironed (such as reflective vests, reflective clothing, etc.) and YSM reflective thermal transfer film.
Make sure the iron is a steam iron with adjustable temperature, and prepare necessary auxiliary tools (such as scissors, ruler, etc.).

 

Pattern positioning

 

·Place the reflective heat transfer film on the garment and position the pattern according to the design requirements. You can use a ruler and pencil to gently draw the outline on the garment to ensure the accurate position of the pattern.

 

Ironing operation

 

·Preheat the iron: Preheat the iron to a suitable temperature (generally recommended between 150-180℃, the specific temperature needs to be adjusted according to the type of reflective heat transfer film and the material of the garment).
·Place the heat transfer film: Place the reflective heat transfer film with the adhesive side facing down on the garment to ensure that the pattern fits tightly to the garment.
·Ironing: Place the iron on the heat transfer film, maintain uniform pressure, and move the iron appropriately to avoid local overheating. The ironing time is generally 10-15 seconds (the specific time depends on the type of heat transfer film and the power of the iron).
·Cooling and peeling: After ironing, wait a moment for the heat transfer film to cool. Then carefully peel off the heat transfer film from one corner to check whether the pattern is completely transferred to the garment. If there is an incompletely transferred part, repeat the ironing until the pattern is completely transferred.

 

Post-processing

 

·After ironing, perform necessary post-processing on the garment, such as trimming the edges, washing, etc. Be careful to avoid using corrosive substances such as strong acids and alkalis when washing to avoid damaging the reflective effect.
