The reason why the luminous film glows

However, luminous film cannot emit light by itself. Its luminous principle is that the main component is rare earth, which works by absorbing light-storing light-self-luminescence. It only needs to absorb and store natural light and artificial light energy for a period of time, and it can be used as a light source at night and in a lightless environment without electricity.

The luminous material we use to make tape is non-toxic and does not contain any phosphorus or radioactive substances. When the lights are off, the luminous tape will emit a strong photoluminescent reaction, which can illuminate the edges of stairs, door frames, sidewalks, stairs, skirting boards, entrance, exit passages and any other places that require strong light and no electricity. The light-storing film can indeed glow for 12 hours at night and will be very bright in the first 4 hours after dark, but the brightness will decrease over time. In actual use, the human eye will gradually adapt to the dark environment and will not feel a significant decrease in brightness.

The Usage and precautions of luminous tape

1. Construction should be carried out on a flat surface, and the construction temperature should be 10~40℃.

2. The luminous film can be cut into various shapes and directly pasted to a certain place (such as a telephone, switch, etc.) for decoration and indication.

3. The surface of the luminous film can be screen-printed with patterns and texts to form a luminous base.

4. Before pasting it on the surface of an object, the surface of the object should be cleaned first, and there should be no oil, dust, etc. on the surface; if the surface of the object to be pasted is an orange peel paint surface, or a silicone paint surface (or other anti-graffiti coating surface), it is not recommended to directly paste it on the surface of the object.

5. This luminous film has a certain thermal expansion and contraction. The sliced ​​luminous film cannot be placed at will. It should be clamped or pressed by heavy objects to prevent deformation and curling.

6. When using, remove the release paper on the back of the luminous film, and apply a certain pressure to the luminous film flatly on the processed surface of the object, paying attention to the good fit of the corners.

7. To ensure the brightness of the same type of luminous film, different batches will have a certain color difference.

8. If the roll length of the luminous film exceeds 10M, there may be joints.

9. The surface of the luminous film will accumulate dust for a long time, affecting the brightness of the luminous film. It is recommended to clean the surface with a clean cloth regularly. It is forbidden to wipe the surface of the luminous film with solvents. A small amount of clean water can be used to clean it and prevent water from entering the back and causing the product to fall off.
