How to use heat transfer reflective film

Place the back of the thermal transfer reflective film (the rough side is the back side - the smooth side is the front side) on the position where the graphics on the substrate should be;

Put a piece of thin cotton cloth on the front of the thermal transfer reflective film, and then heat it on the cotton cloth;

Transfer printing: The pressure of the heat press machine is above 0.2kgf/cm^2. Please ensure that the level of the table and the temperature of the heat press board are consistent with the displayed temperature. At the same time, it is necessary to check whether the temperature of the heat press board is uniform. The transfer temperature and time depend on the melting point of the hot melt adhesive and the fabric, usually at 150°C for 15 seconds.

Tear film: After the transfer is completed, the reflective film needs to be cold-teared from the PET film. Press the cloth with your hand and tear the film at 180 degrees parallel.

Storage of thermal transfer reflective film: moisture-proof, cool place, avoid direct sunlight, the number of stacked layers is less than 5 layers, and there will be no yellowing and poor transfer within 3 years of storage.

Precautions for thermal transfer reflective film

If the fabric is stretchable, it is necessary to preheat the fabric before performing the above operations.

Customers with higher requirements on fastness:

The pressure can be increased appropriately to prolong the pressing time.

After pressing the front side, immediately press the back side for 3-4 seconds or bake it once in the oven, and then uncover it after cooling.

If the fabric or filling cannot withstand the pressing temperature and time of 150 degrees and 15 seconds, it is necessary to properly reduce the temperature and extend the time to achieve the above effect.

After uncovering: If the glue is partially detached, it may be caused by the thermal transfer glue not drying. Please continue to bake at low temperature and dry the thermal transfer glue. If pitting occurs on the reflective surface, it can be smoothed with a rag.

After 24-48 hours, the fastness can be tested. (The fastness is mainly related to the glue) . In order to avoid damage to the reflective layer on the surface and cause waste, it cannot be bent or placed upright during transportation, and the radius cannot be too small when curled!
